Blueberry Surprise Cobbler * Jimmy Ludwig 1 Box Funfetti Cake mix (white with sprinkles in it) 1 Can Grape Soda 2 Cans Blueberry Pie Filling Pour pie filling into bottom of Dutch Oven. Pour dry cake mix over pie filling. Pour grape soda over dry cake mix, do not mix. Bake for 30 min (350 degrees). Coke Cake 1 Box Chocolate Cake Mix 1 Can Coke 2 Cans Cherry Pie filling Pour pie filling into bottom of Dutch Oven. Pour dry cake mix over pie filling. Pour grape soda over dry cake mix, do not mix. Bake for 30 min (350 degrees). Easy Layered Cobbler 1st place contest winner-MyDutchOven.com Recipe Contest 2nd Quarter 2006 *Randy Sheehan 2 cans fruit pie filling, your chioce 1 can condensed milk 1 box yellow cake mix, bisquick, etc 1 stick of buter I use an 8qt dutch oven. Coat bottom of dutch oven with butter or spray oil, save remainder of butter for the top. Open condensed milk and pour into bottom of dutch oven. Open cake mix and sprinkle about half of it on top of the condensed milk, DO NOT STIR IN. Open both cans of fruit filling and pour into the dutch oven on top of cake mix. AGAIN DO NOT STIR IN. Sprinkle the rest of the cake mix on top of the fruit. AGAIN DO NOT STIR. Cut pats of butter, about 5-6 on top of the cake mix. Put on lid. Place oven on one camp shovel full of hot coals and top oven with two shovel fulls of coals. Cook for about 45 minutes rotating oven and lid every 10-12 minutes. Peach Cobbler *Kim Jewett 1 c. sugar 2 tbsp. flour 1/4 tsp. Nutmeg 4 c. sliced, peeled fresh peaches Topping- 1 c. sugar 1 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 1/3 c. butter 1 egg, beaten In bowl, combine sugar flour and nutmeg. Add peaches, stir to coat. Pour into greased Dutch Oven. For topping, combine sugar, flour baking powder and salt. Cut in butter, stir in egg, and spoon over peaches. Bake at 375 for 35 - 40 minutes or until filling is bubbly and topping is golden. Ugly Cobbler *Dutch Oven & Outdoor Cooking Homespun Edition 1 Can sliced peaches 1 Can blueberries 1 Yellow Cake mix Whipped Cream Drain Juice from fruit and set aside. Pour peaches and blueberries into a 12" Dutch Oven. Mix cake mix with the fruit juices and pour over fruit. Put lid on Dutch Oven and bake for 35-40 min. or until cake has pulled away from the sides of oven. Serve hot, topped with whipped cream
